Apagard M Plus

Apagard products have 30 years of history and long sellers not only in Japan but also around the world.

In the 70s, Japanese company Sangi acquired a patent on hydroxyapatite (a substance found in our teeth and bones) as a dental material from the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and started to expand products with hydroxyapatite. As you can guess, the astronauts in a weightless environment suffer from teeth enamel and bone destruction and NASA has developed synthetic hydroxyapatite to restore enamel.
In 1978, the company Sangi has developed technology on its own, it created Apadent toothpaste to restore the enamel with the same ingredient that our teeth contain- hydroxyapatite in the form of nanoparticles. In 1985 company was renamed "Apagard" and it developed a series of toothpaste containing hydroxyapatite, which is popular up to this day in Japan and the whole world.
